Dave's Steak Sandwich

I have made steak sandwiches countless times trying to get it perfect! Usually I hear "Its good" or "I like it"
Dave orders steak sandwiches at every pub he goes to so when I made this sandwich and he said "This is honestly the best steak sandwich I have ever had" I screamed "YES!!! finally!!" so this steak sandwich is for Dave :)

Season a 12oz, 1 inch thick New York strip boneless beef top loin steak with freshly cracked sea salt and pepper on both sides. Bbq steak until medium rare (or however you prefer your steak).
If you would rather pan fry your steak, sear on each side for 1 minute at a high heat and then cook for an additional 7-10 mins until very rare inside.

To make your own garlic bread, heat butter, garlic, freshly cracked sea salt and pepper in a small saute pan until just melted. Dip freshly cut french bread into butter garlic mixture and place on a baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle with Herbes de Provance.
Bake at 375 for approx 10 mins or until done!

Mustard Mayo, to spread onto garlic bread, if you wish
Combine 3/4 cup good mayonnaise
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
2 tbsp sour cream
a sprinkle of sea salt

Saute white mushrooms in garlic butter and add over top of the steak to finish.

Assemble your steak sandwich and Enjoy!
